Beastie Boys Limited Edition Watch to Benefit ‘Adam Yauch Park’ Sells Out

Yesterday afternoon, the Beastie Boys unveiled a super-limited edition timepiece in honor of the nascent Adam Yauch Park. The watches, a collaboration with Nixon Time Teller Pieces, come in four different colors, each brandishing the image of Mike D and the wristband quote, “I accept this award on behalf of the band.” But before you jump to get one, know that it’s already sold out.
Barely a half-hour after the group posted the info on its Facebook page, total quantity had been depleted. Then last night, the crew added “a few” more to the inventory … but it sold out again. Here’s to hoping they release more.
Watches cost $75. Proceeds from purchases benefit “projects” at Adam Yauch Park in Brooklyn Heights.
