Curbside Gym Pops Up at East Houston Construction Site

There’s a new gym open on the Lower East Side – just outside First Park on East Houston Street. Kidding…
We came across this random older gentleman yesterday afternoon sitting on 2×4 planks in a curbside construction storage area. The dude transformed the worksite into a functional gym, lifting cinderblocks on both arms like free-weight dumbbells. His own personal workout area at the expense of the DOT.
For the record, he stopped once lots of people started taking photos.
