Is anyone else sick of the foodie photo trend proliferating the social media feeds of Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter? Okay, we get it; you love your food and desire attention from it. Just eat and move on already.
Foodie photography is the impetus behind Photoodie, a short co-written by Michael Molina and directed by Eric Ian Goldberg, both members of local sketch comedy troupe Local Empire. We see a “hipster type” eating at Ella and trying to orchestrate the best possible snapshot of his meal for maximum likes:
