Broken Heart Bunny Sick of Phone Consumed Pedestrians

You’ve no doubt seen his work all across the Lower East Side, usually wheat-pasted to almost any surface. That “broken-heart bunny” with x’s over its eyes. The image is actually the work of Adam Dare, a Brooklyn-born artist “influenced by the halcyon days of the 80s and 90s.”
His latest piece is more subtle, and incorporates some sage advice for all the iZombies out there. This sidewalk stencil outside White Rabbit on East Houston (where he also has a mural) basically yells at phone-consumed pedestrians to “Fuck your phone, keep your head up!”
He’s got a point.
