DOT Replaces “LOOK” Pavement Embeds with Stencils

Those cartoonish “LOOK” inlays embedded at many dangerous city crosswalks by the DOT just received a superior makeover. The roughly year-old vinyl lettering, complete with its “which-way-to-look” eyeballs, is being ripped up and replaced with a white-paint stencil. Makes more sense, as the originals were getting pretty beat up by the constant stream of foot traffic.
Do you think the “LOOK” campaign is successful in its mission?
