Hip Hop Artist Wale Films Music Video for “Love Hate Thing” on Allen Street

[Photo: Alex Mitow]Hip hop artist Wale was on the Lower East Side last Thursday, filming a music video for “Love Hate Thing” off the forthcoming record, The Gifted. Apparently, his crew shot scenes inside 201 Allen Street, and down the block at the Hernandez Houses courtyard.
They also stopped by Los Perros Locos for some Colombian hot dogs and beers. Owner Alex Mitow tells us: “Wale especially liked the Salchipapas and was a very cool dude. They liked it so much they came back with a full entourage.”
The Gifted is the third long-player for the DC-based entertainer, and will be released June 25.
