We were just noting yesterday how the CRASH Popeye mural at the Bowery graffiti wall was beginning to deteriorate. Merely a few hours later, the ceremonial changing of the guard began. Right on time, though, since it’s now past the six month revolving door. Next up is REVOK and POSE, both of the MSK crew.

This latest mural coincides with the upcoming tandem show at the Jonathan Levine Gallery. This is likely some high-profile guerrilla marketing ahead of the opening on June 29.
