Jamba Juice Outpost Opens at the Bowery Whole Foods

The familiar conical signage was installed in the second floor windows of the Bowery Whole Foods last month. Alongside the giant Smorgasburg announcement at the corner of Chrystie Street. Yes, the upstairs cafe/seating area now boasts a Jamba Juice. And not just a rinky-dink outpost on the fringe; this one is a full-fledged service bar that usurps a sizable foodie footprint.
The corporate move nevertheless has some out there wondering why Jamba Juice was chosen for this Whole Foods. Especially for a health conscious supermarket that ofen espouses its local ties.
