More fashion flight to report today, dispatched from the upper neck of Ludlow Street. Mint Julep just aborted its neighborhood presence after five years in business here. The closure came to pass last week. According to a fresh printout on the front door of number 173, the Boston-based brand is consolidating its offering at the West Village location.
This move isn’t too surprising, as we’d seen a number of real estate listings for the storefront in recent months. One thing is for sure, though; this part of Ludlow is in a complete transition. Once the Hotel Ludlow opens, the upper crust will have full reign.
