The continual Chelsea gallery defection to the Lower East Side shows no tangible signs of slowing. And it’s Orchard Street that seemingly has the target on its proverbial back. Next to ride the gravy train to our neck of the woods is Klemens Gasser & Tanja Grunert, Inc. Talk about tongue twisters…
A premature opening bash was actually held back in mid-July, celebrated in a raw room. Since then, the gallery space has been fitted with its white-wall uniform and is ready to go. Inaugural exhibition kicks off today and features the artwork of Blair Thurman. It’ll run through October 27.
