Pizza Junkie on Stanton Folds Yet Again

It’s another overdose for Pizza Junkie.
Not even fresh blood and new ownership could save the Junkie. So, for the second time in three years, the subtle slice shop at 11 Stanton Street is donezo (and, no, that’s not a topping). Vinyl real estate banners now hang from the electric blue awning – one advertises that the store is for rent, while the other announces that the pizza business is also for sale via Jalca & Associates (no record of the property on the company website).
The first iteration of Pizza Junkie debuted on Stanton Street in March of 2010.
This eastern terminus of Stanton is a hard sell for small business due to a considerable lack of foot traffic.
