Amy Poehler-Produced ‘Broad City’ Filming on Ludlow Today

Amy Poehler’s Broad City is back on the Lower East Side beat today. Cast and crew will cordon the area bounded by Delancey-Rivington-Norfolk-Ludlow to shoot scenes for the pilot season, which is set to debut next spring on Comedy Central.
Comediennes Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer are the creative duo behind Broad City. It began in the club but morphed into an uber-popular web series. Fellow UCB alum Amy Poehler took notice and adapted the concept for Comedy Central (ten episodes ordered). The plot revolves around two friends in New York City “navigating their way though the minutiae that is life.”
