Cops Seek Cabbie in East Houston ‘Hit and Run’

An eighteen-year-old woman was fatally injured Friday evening after a taxicab incident near the corner of Lafayette and East Houston.
According to authorities, the unidentified victim tried to hail a number of cabs in the area at around midnight. She thought it a smart idea (in her alleged drunken state) to climb through the window; the driver seemingly wasn’t pleased and sped away with her torso dangling halfway. The woman fell into the street and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Meanwhile, cops apparently deem this a hit-and-run, and are trying to track down the cabbie. An illuminated bulletin board is now in place at the site of the accident to aid the trackdown effort. The event was indeed fatal…
