Hotel Ludlow Taps Torrisi Crew for Onsite Restaurant

Big news dropped earlier this week regarding the notorious Hotel Ludlow, a Hell Square development that’s been under construction for the better part of a decade. Eater broke word that current owner and hotel savior Sean MacPherson (of Bowery Hotel fame) is partnering with the Torrisi duo – Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi – for the onsite restaurant-bar. Their parent company, Major Food, will develop the concept.
Sean MacPherson and BD Hotels purchased 180 Ludlow Street out of bankruptcy for $25 million exactly two years ago. It’ll boast 170 keys upon completion.
