This is welcome news if you’re sick of hearing about Banksy…
Renowned street artist Invader is in town to promote the screening of his film Art4Space at the Sunshine Cinema this week. Boogie reader Nicer Shit alerts us to two new 8-bit mosaics embedded in the architecture of the Lower East Side – outside the New Museum and above the entrance of Marshall Stack. Both pieces are Big Apple-related.

Art4Space is a short film (25 minutes) that explores and documents his crazy idea of launching a “Space Invader” into space. There are two screenings on Tuesday evening at the Sunshine Cinema, 8pm and 9pm. Admission is free, so prepare for a long line.
