The stretch of Houston east of Essex Street always felt like an unaccomodating place for boutique shops. In fact, much of this neighborhood-bisecting artery is without such retail. Yet there A Little Wicked flourished. For years, it sold vintage female threads alongside a bagel shop and an architecture office. Now the business is leaving the block.

The sidewalk sandwich board and front windows collectively announce the move. October is their last month at this address. There’s also the obligatory deep discount (i.e. everything 50% off). No word yet on the new location.

A Little Wicked is the brainchild of stylish sister owners Bianca and Robyn Moreno. The Texas natives opened the store here on the Lower East Side a few years ago, and is the self-proclaimed “dream closet filled with fun, sexy pieces you can live, lounge, luxe, and love in.”
