The endangered species of Orchard Street leather vendors is poised to lose yet another. Bye bye bargain district … or whatever sliver was left of it.

131 Orchard now carries the proverbial target on its storefront. RKF leasing signage (giving Misrahi a run for their money?) hangs above the entrance to M.S. Fashions. The leather vendor held down this mid-block real estate for quite a few years.

The space is available immediately, and can be paired with the adjoining rear store at 130 Allen. Combined space between both addresses would be roughly 2,600 square-feet (including cellar space).

It’s another through-block opportunity in this southern stretch of Hell Square, and one that is trying to bait more restaurant/nightlife endeavors. Indeed, the listing itself name-checks the myriad new eateries moving in, with particular emphasis on the forthcoming Russ & Daughters cafe currently under construction next door.
