Current Captain America actor Chris Evans will be in Hell Square this evening to shoot scenes for a flick called 1:30 Train. The usual “no parking” laminates currently criss-cross the streets, advertising a late-night filming sesh. Production begins at 4pm and will end twelve hours later. It’s time to purchase those blackout shades…
1:30 Train is a romancer in which Evans pulls triple duty – starring, directing, and producing. It follows two strangers in Manhattan who spend one night together, and become romantically intertwined. The love interest will be played by actress Alice Eve (Star Trek: Into Darkness, Some Velvet Morning).
Synopsis via IMDB:
A woman misses the 1:30 train from New York to Boston and a street musician spends the night trying to help her make it back home before her husband does. Throughout the night they learn a lot about one another and eventually find a romance.
This is the third large-scale production to invade and occupy the neighborhood within the last month. How have these shoots been affecting you?
