5Pointz Guru Meres One Curating Rag & Bone Mural Wall During December

Street art is so watered down for the mainstream now that, of all things, a trendy boutique on the Lower East Side extended a helping hand to Meres One and the displaced 5Pointz crew. Rag & Bone, the Cafe Colonial-killing chain store that sells $300 denim, is pimping its Elizabeth Street wall (site of its homegrown “Houston/Project”) for the remainder of December.
Meres One, known in the real world as Jonathan Cohen, is tasked as curator. The photo above shows the first piece on this wall, thrown up Saturday afternoon.
