Beyond Martial Arts Departs Attorney Street for Masaryk Towers

Ground level retail on the southeast corner of Attorney and East Houston is now a complete dormancy. Atlas Travel Group shuttered a couple years ago, and as of last week, Beyond Martial Arts is no longer here. The popular neighborhood gym and training center relocated to the Nike-renovated gym at Masaryk Towers (69 Columbia Street), and officially opened its doors on December 15.
Beyond Martial Arts was a fixture at 174 Attorney since its founding in 2008. Geared mainly toward kids, BMA focuses on Karate summer camps, after-school programs, basic-through-advanced Martial Arts, and Boxing programs for students of all levels. They also offer Zumba classes for adults.
