John Varvatos Further Exploits the Bowery for New Toronto Store

Toronto is next on the list (behind Las Vegas) to receive the John Varvatos retail interpretation of the Bowery. Version 2.0, that is. The fashion guru lifted the veil on his latest downtown-inspired concept store a couple weeks ago in the Yorkdale Shopping Centre. It’s the first ex-US store for Varvatos, who told the Toronto Star that the city was chosen since it “feels more international than any other North American city, next to New York.”
This menswear boutique mirrors the CBGB location in its feel, and carries the upscale “John Varvatos Collection,” the more casual “John Varvatos USA” imprint, and the laceless line of Chucks.
