Sebastian LC Expansion Underway at 81 Ludlow Street

Sebastian LC is taking over more of 81 Ludlow

Four years into operations as Sebastian LC, and owner Kouger Ahmed is ready to expand into the enormous adjacent space. The store on 81 Ludlow (aka 246 Broome), previously occupied by wholesaler Jin Lin Trading Corp, is to house the addition. This alteration to the method of operation was cautiously approved in August by Community Board 3 (there are numerous 311 complaints against the establishment).

The French/Cuban-style restaurant will use the extra space at 81 Ludlow for more dining and an additional stand-up bar. A raw bar serving various seafood options is also in the cards. Also, even though the spaces are connected via basement, the new digs will reportedly sport an autonomous entrance. Below is a rough diagram of what to expect from this extension…
