Looks Like Old Hollywood is Closing Up Shop on Broome Street

When the upscale Miss Lonelyhearts shuttered a couple years ago, its boutique successor brought more of the same. Greenpoint transplant Old Hollywood debuted its second outpost of vintage-wear at 250 Broome Street in the fall of 2011, this after a brief stall-stint at the Limelight Shops. But it seems the days of peddling throwback threads at this address are nearing conclusion.
Misrahi Realty affixed its familiar tombstone signage above the entrance last week, a surefire indication of what’s happening at 250 Broome. Old Hollywood is soon to join the recent trend of Lower East Side boutiques to close after two years in business.
In the meantime, you can stop by Old Hollywood for their “end of season sale” at this store; 20%-75% off.
