Ost Cafe Expands to Grand Street and is Now Serving

Ost Cafe, which currently maintains a presence on East 12th Street, is expanding its holdings. The java joint just opened an outpost in the Federal-style townhouse at 511 Grand Street (landmarked in 2007), formerly occupied by Wing Hing restaurant. Service began yesterday morning at 7:30 am.
Unlike the East Village incarnation, though, wine will not be offered here. We’ll see how long that lasts.
