Papa Dish Pizza Joint on Clinton Street is Kaput

Papa Dish on Clinton Street was seemingly a half-baked idea from the get-go. The dollar-slice joint appeared out of nowhere shortly after Dessert Works closed its brick-and-mortar. Its appearance on the block last August also coincided with the debut of Rizzo’s across the way. At this restaurant you could order both pizza and deli options.
However, not four months after setting up shop, Papa Dish foundered. The space at 6 Clinton is empty and ready to devour its next occupant.
According to window leafing, Papa Dish has allegedly been on the scene in one form or another since 1983.
