Williamsburg Pizza opened its Lower East Side outpost at the end of December, and is now going big with its announcement. Ownership opted to evoke signage stylings often seen throughout Chinatown, that of tiered lettering affixed to tenement fire escapes. “F-R-E-S-H” and “P-I-Z-Z-A” are spelled on both the Allen and Broome Street fronts.
The first iteration of Williamsburg Pizza appeared in its namesake neighborhood in September 2012. This new spinoff at 87 Allen is co-owned by Hotel Chantelle proprietor Kyle O’Brien and Aaron McCann.
What’s your opinion of their pizza so far?
