Usually when urban etiquette signage leads off with the phrase, “we’re all adults here,” there’s bound to be something great in tow. In this case, we turn to the boozy Prohibition Bakery at 9 Clinton Street. This handwritten caution sign is taped to the front door.
We’re all adults here. You know that snow and slush that makes things slippery. But we have to caution you so you can’t sue us if you fall. Unless you fall while reading this, in which case, well, don’t fall.
Also, watch your step.
A simple “caution, slippery” announcement woulda sufficed, but where’s the fun in that?
