Another Davey Drill Spotted Taking Samples in SPURA

SPURA news is fast and furious these days. There is the alleged Essex Crossing expansion we exclusively uncovered last week that might jeopardize 75 Essex and/or Beth Hamedrash Hagadol; the park and school proposals for lot five; And of course, the bombshell that dropped this weekend, via the Times, about decades-old corruption by Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver and his protege William Rapfogel to keep the undeveloped nine-parcel tract fallow.
Meanwhile, a Davey Drill has been parked in parcel 3 for the last few days. It’s stationed there collecting soil samples and other ecological data ahead of the impending ground assault. It’s the second such sighting in SPURA in less than a month; the first being 400 Grand Street.
