Hacking “Diner” for “Jef”
With just a little bit of electrical tape, here’s a prime example of how to hack your current store signage to reflect a business change.
Mathieu Palombino obscured the lettering on his sexy “DINER” neon outside 241 Bowery to read “JEF.”
This bit of frontier medicine was a result of the transition from Bowery Diner to the three-month culinary pop-up called Chez Jef. At the end of this experimental run – sometime later this spring – Palombino will introduce a new permanent fixture in the space.
Have you been to Chez Jef yet? Thoughts?
