Flowers on Essex Opens Stall Inside Essex Market

We’ve said it before. Retail changes in the Essex Street Market are akin to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Despite the wishes of some in the community, the Essex Crossing project decided to construct a new (much larger) facility across the street, which will happen sometime in the next couple years.
Anyway.
A new vendor is opening inside the Essex Market today. Bill Frazer’s Flowers on Essex will now occupy a stall in the southern end of the warehouse. Seems like a good move considering there really isn’t such a shop there.
Flowers on Essex was previously located at 39 Essex, but moved to the current address in 2010. It replaced the venerable Isabella’s Oven upon its closure the year before.
