Plantworks’ Garden Center Remains Open Through End of June; Gym Rumored as Replacement

Plantworks closed for business last Thursday evening; its rent more than doubled to $34,000, as previously reported. However, EV Grieve notes that the adjacent garden center remains open Tuesdays through Thursdays this month. So there’s still an opportunity to green-up your apartment.
In the meantime, we’ve been hearing plenty of rumblings about Plantworks’ possible replacement. Rumor has it that another gym of some kind might be opening here. If proven true, it’d be the sixth workout room within a five-block radius.
Let’s tally them up – Crunch, Dolphin, Blink Fitness, David Barton Gym, and the forthcoming Barry’s Bootcamp.
No DOB permits or other outward indication just yet about the gym.
