Three Points and Ludlow Inn Begin Renovations Down at 1 Ludlow Street

Months of silence on the ground level of 1 Ludlow Street recently concluded. The incoming bar-restaurant-speakeasy concept – dubbed Three Points and Ludlow Inn respectively – is now amidst full throttle renovations. Build-out has been underway the last few weeks behind closed doors. But now it’s headed outside; as of yesterday, a new sidewalk enclosure is affixed to the Division Street facade.
Purpose of the plywood is apparently to break through the brick to create a new south-facing window onto Division. Thus far, however, we don’t see any DOB permits for the construction.
As previously reported, Three Points will offer quick-serve counter pizza on the ground level (like co-founder’s Numero 28); Ludlow Inn is the “speakeasy” concept downstairs that will be run by Shingo Gokan, a graduate of Angel’s Share in the East Village. There are also plans to open for breakfast at 7am.
Community Board 3 signaled their approval of the full OP licenses back in April. Opening is expected sometime in late-September.
Three Points is likely a nod to the confluence of three downtown streets at its doorstep.
