Abe’s Antiques on Stanton Street is ready for its television debut. Later today, film crews will swarm the immediate vicinity of Suffolk and Stanton to capture scenes for ABC’s new pet project, Forever. Requisite “no parking” signs are taped to street furniture over to Clinton and south to Rivington.
As previously reported, the Smart Clothes gallery at 154 Stanton is masquerading as an antiques store for the set.
Forever is a sci-fi drama that follows the life of Dr. Henry Morgan, a 200-year-old man who spends eternity trying to find a way to reverse his immortality. Matt Miller (Chuck) is penning the pilot script. Veteran actor Judd Hirsch joined the cast last spring. The show will premiere on ABC September 23, with a sneak peek the night before.
