Model and Essex Street Resident Ataui Deng Found Alive 12 Days After Vanishing

Twenty-two-year-old supermodel Ataui Deng went missing twelve days ago, prompting a heated search that included a viral social media campaign. Even Rihanna tweeted about her disappearance. She had last been seen at the Attic nightclub in Hell’s Kitchen, but was found alive at “an area hospital” early this morning (1am). NYPD offers no additional information on why she was admitted.
Deng’s boyfriend Grant Monohon indicated that the model reportedly wanted to sleep in “a park” the last night she was seen.
Ataui Deng was born in Khartoum, Sudan, and is a resident of Essex Street. She’s been a fixture on fashion runways these last few years.
