Ricky’s Opening a Halloween Outpost at 250 East Houston

It’s the time of the season for pop-up Halloween stores; two months early, mind you.
In due course, the Lower East Side will welcome a temporary Halloween outpost courtesy of Ricky’s. Signage was just installed in the windows of 250 East Houston, which previously hosted Sleepy’s before its move next door. This particular location in Red Square will complement its First Avenue sister, and appears nearly ready to open.
This storefront real estate was once earmarked for the construction of a new pool hall by the Soho Billiards people. That dream was announced in April 2013, yet never came to pass.
