The SKINnY Soft Opens Tonight at 174 Orchard Street

The fattened SKINnY Bar and Lounge is opening much earlier than we thought at 174 Orchard Street. As in, tonight. We hear word from ownership that this evening is soft-launch for the newly-expanded rock bar, which closed in 2012 for renovations.
Here is more of the skinny on SKINnY, according to press materials:
The SKINnY Bar and Lounge is opening with the same original owners. The new bar will have a bigger space, more seating, and an upstairs area for parties. They will also have a kitchen open every day including staying open late on the weekends (Fri/Sat until 3:30 AM) and a brunch menu as well. This week is a soft opening and there will be an official launch coming in a few weeks with a brand new cocktail menu.
The fattened SKINnY Bar and Lounge annexed the neighboring store that previously housed Elegant Woolen & Silk.
