Fung Tu Reopens Tonight After Gas Leak Hiatus

Fung Tu reopens for dinner service tonight after a week on the sidelines. As previously reported, a gas leak in its building at 22 Orchard Street forced the business to close until further notice. Meaning, now.
Owner Wilson Tang informs us that, even though the restaurant will be open, they’ll be serving a limited menu. Con Edison still needs to turn on the gas, but “everything else works.” Anything to keep the business up and running.
Wilson Tang is concurrently the second-generation owner of Nom Wah Tea Parlor on Doyers Street.
