City Marshal Seizes Pomme Creperie on Ludlow Street

The unheralded crepe wars of Hell Square were suddenly neutralized yesterday. For the last couple years, the Pomme creperie squared off against the longstanding Creperie mini-chain across Ludlow Street. We rarely saw anyone grazing in there, but business persevered nevertheless.
The end came yesterday evening. Pomme’s last communication occurred via Facebook at around 4pm. Shortly thereafter, the City Marshal paid an unexpected visit to the nearly-two-year-old establishment, and seized the store and its contents on behalf of the landlord. And that’s all she wrote.
Given the size of this shoebox commercial space, it’s difficult to imagine much else at this address. Except for maybe a salon or boutique. Time will tell.
