This lingerie company wants to get between the sheets and be your valentine for the holidays. The bicoastal Valentine brand just arrived on the Lower East Side with a pop-up holiday shop at 153 Ludlow Street. It’s been open the last few weeks with sandwich board out front.

Some background from the official website:

Friends since meeting on an Australian photo shoot, former models Whitney Brown and Paloma Jonas conceived Valentine after recognizing a gap in the market for cool, comfortable, and affordable lingerie – especially for women with smaller busts. Armed with years of knowledge acquired while working for some of the top brands in the fashion industry, they set out to design what every woman needed but didn’t necessarily have.

Valentine temporarily fills the commercial void at 153 Ludlow, half of which has been vacant ever since Lois Eastlund packed up and departed in 2013. The other half was recently picked up by leather fashion outpost, The LUD, which opened earlier this fall.
