Hanksy just took his fly-infested “dump Trump” character on the road for the weekend, ready to raise hell in South Carolina. As with the presidential primary in New Hampshire earlier this month, the prolific street artist headed south of the Mason Dixon Line to anger the Trump base.
He and a small army of poster-carrying confidants descended upon the state, and already littered the campaign trail with the hilarious shit-head illustration native to Orchard Street. “I’ve printed thousands of buttons, yard signs, stickers, and banners,” Hanksy tells us.
The goal is to, as the slogan notes, bury Trump’s bid for president. To that end, Hanksy wants his funny image in the hands of all. And it’s starting to resonate. The team is going to the Trump rally in Myrtle beach later this morning, then Charleston, and on to Greenville for the Bernie Sanders rally.
