Four-year-old Lower East Side oyster joint, Grey Lady, is heading out to the beach this summer with a new location. Montauk, to be precise, a natural extension of its brand.
The East End spinoff is the fourth in as many years for Grey Lady, which debuted at 77 Delancey back in May 2012. Co-owner Ryan Chadwick tells us that it should open for the traditional start of summer, Memorial Day.
“Montauk seemed like a nice fit for our coastal menu,” Chadwick says.
Expect the same fixins – raw bar, lobster rolls, and fresh local seafood fare.
Grey Lady now has a presence in three different states, including Colorado.
