‘O Cafe’ and ‘L’estudio’ Ceramics Workshop Open on Hester Street
The brown paper curtains are finally deposed from the windows of 61 Hester Street. It’s now a bustling scene.
O Cafe, based in Greenwich Village, just opened its newest eatery in the former home of Brown. Here is a look inside the cafè proper; floor configuration is similar to its predecessor.
As previously reported, the shop next door – the former Orange (same address) – houses L’estudio, a retail showcase for Argentinian owner-chef-potter Fernando Aciar’s own ceramics line, where you can pick up their handmade coffee mugs etc. In fact, he apparently fashioned the ceramics for O Cafe.
