This Clinton Street Hair Salon Uses Dolls for an Anti-Trump Window Display
Now, here’s a window display worth scoping out.
The Kropps & Bobbers hair salon at Clinton Street is sticking it to Trump with an assorted assembly of Barbie and Ken knockoffs. Each one is posing with a different social message to address the myriad scandals of the Trump administration. Collectively saying, Dump Trump.
Women’s rights, Trump’s tax returns, and the overall attack on facts all make an appearance in the retail diorama. For instance, one doll holds a sign saying “Science is a thing,” flanked by another who commands, “Dry your eyes and organize.”
There is even a shirtless Putin charachter and a gold-painted jumbo jet (flight number 666) with the name “Hot Air” penciled onto the fuselage.
