Dr. Phil TV Drama ‘Bull’ is Taking Over the Lower East Side Today
CBS is poised to fully take over the neighborhood today to film scenes for its new show, Bull. And we haven’t seen a production presence like this on the Lower East Side since HBO invaded with Vinyl.
There are dozens of “no parking” signs littered from Essex/Delancey over to East Houston/Clinton.
Bull premiered back in October on CBS, and is based on the early career of TV personality Dr. Phil McGraw. Back when he created a “hugely successful trial sciences firm.” The series is already fifteen episodes into the twenty-two ordered for this first season.
The show was created by Paul Attanasio (House) and Dr. Phil himself. Michael Weatherly (NCIS) is in the leading role as Dr. Jason Bull. Its ratings are decent but the reviews haven’t been so great, apparently.
Bull … shit?
