Man Found Dead Inside the Orchard Street Hotel
Early yesterday morning, an older man was found dead inside the Orchard Street Hotel just south of Stanton Street.
First responders mobilized after receiving a 911 call at 3:09 am reporting an unconscious man inside the eleven-story hotel, according to published reports. When police arrived at the scene, they found the 63-year-old man unconscious, and with no obvious signs of trauma on his body.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, though authorities have yet to publicly announce the man’s name. It was not immediately clear how he died, either. The city’s medical examiner will ultimately determine cause of death.
