Former Chatham Square OTB Transformed into Newest Chase Bank Branch
Chatham Square no longer has its OTB ghost signage.
The former gambling parlor just off the Bowery – dormant since the city shut down operations eight years ago – is now a new Chase Bank. It opened to the public within the last week. This branch replaces the one that long held down the corner of Doyers Street and the Bowery.
As previously reported, the immediate Chatham Square vicinity is heavily represented with multinational banks. More than a half-dozen orbit the area.
