‘Nooklyn’ Brokerage Takes Space in Hell Square
Three-year-old Brooklyn broker upstart, Nooklyn, just expanded its reach into Manhattan. The company signed a lease back in April to take storefront space at 101 Stanton Street, a property that’s seen plenty of retail turnover in recent months.
The new Lower East Side office opens tomorrow, nearly two months after the initial May 1 projection.
Nooklyn was founded in 2015, and offers a platform stocked with rental listings, applications, background checks, rent payments, and roommate assistance.
According to Real Estate Weekly, Nooklyn itself is the fourth largest brokerage by agent head count in Brooklyn, and number one in the rentals-focused niche.
