Newcomer ‘DIU Tea’ Prints Your Selfie in Bubble Tea Foam

For three years, the south store of 160 Orchard street has been largely barren. Bereft of permanence in a favor of rotating pop-up shops peddling “experiences.” (Including the one to test out vibrators.)

Well, the landlord finally caught one.

The real estate is now dedicated to slinging bubble tea with a new shop called DIU Tea that recently opened here. Their specialized menu includes “special blended” tea drinks “not available anywhere else in America.” Plus, the gimmicky “selfie” beverage which lets the customers “print a photo on the cream or cheese foam on top of [the drink].”
