Essex Crossing Signs its First Bank (Wells Fargo)
More development, more retail banks.
Indeed, Wells Fargo is the first bank to plant a flag in the billion-dollar Essex Crossing development. Teaser signage in the windows advertises the forthcoming arrival at The Goldin senior living center (aka Site 6).
The token bank branch is set to occupy the entire corner of Clinton and Broome Streets. It’s the second Lower East Side outpost for Wells Fargo, which also counts the Bowery in its stable, and is not yet mentioned on the official website.
