CVS will Open in Hell Square on August 25
CVS is less than two weeks from opening another location on the Lower East Side. And, as such, Hell Square is now bookended by corporate pharmacies.
The illuminated store signage made its way to the southeast corner of Orchard and East Houston Streets. You know, the chi-chi eleven-story condoplex developed by controversial landlord Ben Shaoul. CVS joins Equinox gym and Marshalls to round out the 60,000 square-foot retail component at 196 Orchard, the condo for which sold last month for $88.75 million.
The sign in the door indicates an opening date of August 25.
